If any parts are found to be damaged (including punctures) that may cause trouble, unlike when rented,

We will charge the customer for the repair costs, but if you subscribe to vehicle insurance, we will compensate you for a portion of the damage up to 30,000 yen.

《Height and weight applicable to rental bicycles》Common for cross bikes and Bromptons

Rental bicycles cannot be used by people who are less than 140cm tall or weigh more than 100kg.

*For electrically assisted bicycles, the height must be 144cm or more.

《Children's bicycle》

We have two sizes that accommodate heights of 110cm to 135cm.

《Electric assist bicycle》

The minivelo type can be used by people over 144cm tall.

The cross bike type is suitable for heights of 145cm to 160cm.

《About renting a Brompton》

The Brompton is a folding bicycle, but folding is prohibited except for the rear wheel.

If you are using it for the first time, we will explain and practice how to use it for about 15 minutes.

《Conditions for renting a Brompton for an overnight stay》

〇 Brompton users or those accompanied by a Brompton user.

〇Those who have participated in the Tabitas tour.

〇Those who have taken the Brompton handling course (how to fold and ride).

*Brompton handling courses are always held at Tabitasu Setoda (advance reservation required). (Tuition fee/1,000 yen per person/approximately 60 minutes)

《About lending at stores》

There is only one store in the Setoda Shiomachi shopping district on Ikuchijima.

It takes about 40 minutes by boat from Onomichi Station.

《About insurance》

Our insurance is only applicable to Japanese nationals or foreigners residing in Japan.

Please be sure to purchase your own insurance.

《About cancellation》

★If you wish to cancel your reservation, please contact us immediately.

If canceled due to customer's convenience, the following cancellation fee will be charged to the rental fee (excluding out-of-area delivery and collection fee).

・3 days before: 20% of the reservation fee

・2 days before: 30% of the reservation fee

・The day before: 50% of the reservation fee

・Same-day cancellation/Unauthorized cancellation: 100% of reservation fee

  *If you do not show up one hour after your reservation time without contacting us, your reservation will be automatically canceled.

*If it is raining or rainy weather is expected, there will be no cancellation fee.

Precautions when using rental bicycles [Please read]

○For rental, you will need identification such as a driver's license, insurance card, student ID, or passport. Please be sure to bring it with you on the day.

○Customers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian or person over the age of 18.

○Even if the item is returned earlier than originally planned, the difference in price will not be refunded.

○You can specify a delivery/collection time within the rental period, but we may have to adjust the time to accommodate other customers.

○If the collection time is after 18:00 due to customer's convenience, an overage fee of 1,000 yen per hour will be charged.

○The bicycle may be different from the one in the photo, but we will prepare a similar class.

○Please bring your driver's license or other identification on the day of the event. If you forget it, we will refuse to lend it to you.

○Please be sure to wear a helmet.

○Please drive in single file on the left side of the road.

○Customers are responsible for paying for repairs to their bicycles due to punctures, scratches, damage, accidents, etc. that occur during use.

*Puncture repair costs vary depending on the plan.

○If your bicycle is damaged or stolen, or if accessories (keys, lights, etc.) are damaged or lost, you will be charged the actual cost.
